We are a wood and wood-metal window manufacturing company located in French-speaking Switzerland, on the shores of Lake Neuchâtel, employing 43 people. Founded in 1945, several stages of modernization led us to acquire a Working-Process Logo Life EVO machining center in early 2018. After several years of study and analysis, and while following very precise specifications, our choice led us to this machine from the Italian firm. The same selection criteria for the choice of this machining center were applied to the choice of software capable of meeting our needs. Our priority was to find a flexible program capable of producing complex windows, particularly compatible with the very strict standards of historic buildings, for example. Our local service to professionals throughout French-speaking Switzerland, our wide range of 100% custom-made products and the high-end quality of our manufacturing required us to choose the best program on the market to control our machine. Our specifications included several determining points such as: French language support, experience with Working-Process, deadline, daily carpentry target, compliance with safety standards, flexibility in programming and future development, open coding type (ISO), price, and finally our general feeling. The evidence of our results logically led us to choose the Kosmosoft program, and its French branch WPS. After 6 months of use, 95% of our production is programmed on the CNC. With the help of our external IT support, we set up a “sandbox” system to test and validate updates before putting them into production for all the company’s users. We thus guarantee flawless IT security, able to meet our “Swiss made” guarantee. We can only highly recommend our choice to all interested companies. It has been over a year since we installed the LEGOS LIFE EVO 3453 IMML with the Archimedes program from Kosmosoft. More than 60 window systems programmed. We are sincerely happy with our choice!
